Legs were heavy on this morning's threshold run and I've slept badly all week. Do I still do Saturday's long ride?
Your coach
Keep the ride, but not as written. You've stacked three hard days, and last winter this exact pattern came right before your calf flared. Ride it all in zone 2 and cut it to three hours.

Plans are everywhere. Judgment isn't.

Every training app sells you a plan: generated, adaptive, personalised, but still a plan you follow. When life gets in the way, you're on your own again.

LOAD is a coach you talk to.

Not another plan. It gives you what you actually pay a coach for.

A view

It looks at your week and tells you what it thinks, including "don't".

Your whole situation

The knee, the job, the kids, how you respond to threshold blocks. Context no device records.

A memory

It remembers last winter, and what happened the last time you stacked three hard days.

Always on. Any horizon.

One coach for everything, from tomorrow's session to next season.

Today

"My legs are heavy. Do I still do the intervals?"

This week

"I'm travelling Wednesday to Friday. What do I move?"

Race week

"What should my carb-load look like for Saturday's 70.3?"

This season

"Do I race in May, or build for August?"

Three steps to your coach.

  1. 1

    Set up your Season

Create a Season, like "2027 Season", and set your races. Chats, plans and uploads for that year live there.

  2. 2

    Bring in your training

Attach a CSV export or a screenshot, and your coach works from what you actually did.

  3. 3

    Talk to your coach

Start a chat straight away and file it under a Season later. In your browser or on your phone.

Talk it through. Lock it in.

Agree a block in conversation and your coach turns it into a plan in Training plans, laid out week by week and ready to use.

I want to build my bike for the 70.3 in June without losing my run. What should the next four weeks look like?
Your coach
Three build weeks, then a recovery week. Bike volume rises each week, with one sweet spot session and a long ride. Your run holds at three sessions, with the long run capped so it doesn't eat into the bike.
Can the long ride go on Sunday? Saturdays are family time.
Your coach
Done: long ride on Sunday, a shorter long run early Saturday. Locked in. Your four-week block is in Training plans.

Read by your coach as soon as it lands.

Built for athletes who've outgrown the plan.

Triathletes first, then runners and cyclists. Recognise yourself?

You coach yourself, and read your data

You want the reasoning, not a black box.

You had a coach, and miss them

You dropped them on cost. It's the relationship you lost.

Your week rarely goes to plan

Work, travel and family move things. Training should move too.

You're chasing a result

A qualifying time or a championship. You want more depth.

You've tried the template plans

They worked, until they didn't. They were never about you.

Not built for complete beginners. And if you're happy with your coach, stick with them.

How your coach behaves.

It shows its working

Every recommendation comes with the reasoning, so you can push back.

It will disagree with you

A coach that always says yes isn't coaching.

It knows its limits

Injury and health questions get pointed to a professional.

It credits its sources

It applies established coaching principles to your training and tells you where they come from: the method, the research, the coach. It never passes off someone else's work as its own.

Built by an athlete who needed it.

LOAD's founder races as a GB age-grouper. Training for the 2026 European Championships without a coach, he turned a general-purpose AI chat into one. It helped, until it contradicted itself, lost track of his training blocks and needed the basics explained again and again.

LOAD is the coach he wanted: built for one athlete, one record, one season at a time.

The AI is the engine. LOAD is the coach built around it.
